'What a lovely casita! Everything was better than advertised! I was welcomed with cold water in the fridge and special treats by the coffee station. The home was clean and beautiful and very comfortable. There were more than enough linens and supplies, but the hosts were readily available if there had been any problems. 'We were delighted to discover the Desert Compass. This little gem is well-maintained, super comfortable, beautifully decorated, and the locale cannot be beat. We parked the car upon arrival, and never had the need to drive. We could walk to shops, museums, restaurants, bars, and grocers with ease. We'll be back!'

We loved that we could ride our bikes directly from the casita to the Paseo del Bosque Trail and get in a nice 20+ mile ride without having to drive to a trailhead.
