'During our short stay we were able to visit Volcanoes National Park, the Green Sand Beach close to South Point, go night snorkeling with Manta Rays in Kona, visit several beaches, and even drive up Mauna Kea on our last day in Big Island (night flight) - we could not have achieved this and more without staying in such a perfectly placed location, one with unique landscape on its doorstep (the local history of lava flows was truly fascinating). 'This property was spacious and comfortable. View from the lanai was spectacular. quiet neighborhood. Do take the warnings about the steep driveway. As two people in our 70’s, we had to exert a great deal of energy to get our luggage down the driveway and up the outdoor stair! Once we loaded in everything was perfect!'
