'Perfect for a short stay in Varadero within walking distance of the beach and a selection of restaurants. The room was comfortable, the bathroom was well-equipped and there was wifi available (unusual for most of Cuba). Plus the friendly host's excellent breakfast was a good start to each day.'

'Het verblijf ligt veilig gelegen en was heel erg netjes en schoon met prima douche en toilet gelegenheid. Twee twee persoons bedden en een keukenblok met koelkast. De host Daisy is top en spreek heel goed Engels. Het ontbijt was eerste klas. Het verblijf ligt 8 kilometer van het Varadero Vliegveld. Fijne restaurantjes in de omgeving waar je lekker kunt eten. '

'Geweldige locatie bij een fantastische gastvrouw waar we 2 nachten hebben verbleven. Heerlijk groot bed, fijn terras met zitje en ligbedjes, heerlijk ontbijt en vlak bij een lekker strandje en een levendig centrum waar diverse restaurantjes zitten waar je lekker kan eten.'

'Nice accommodation, very colourfull! We even had a small kitchen. They created a nice place outside with some places to sit for you, you share it with 1 other guest other room. The place is really near to the beach and some nice restaurants. We only stayed 1 night but I wish we stayed longer'

'This guest house stay was absolutely perfect for our time in Varadero. The host and her husband were so warm and welcoming from the moment we checked in. We were presented with fresh juice inside their house. Our actual room was also perfect including a kitchen and patio. It was so clean and had everything we needed. We were also offered breakfast both mornings for a small charge - VERY worth it and delicious! The hosts also helped to arrange our transportation back to Havana for a good price....

'The hotel had no fault. The room and facilities were very nice, clean, comfortable, staff was friendly. Delicious breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant. On a negative side, I asked the staff if they could book me a taxi and they did. It turned out to be a car which did not look like a registered taxi (just somebody's car), and overpriced. '

'Mara is a wonderful host! It was such a pleasure staying at this location A few things to keep in mind: - There's no wifi at the residence but you can purchase a cheap wifi card from a store close to the park in Santa Marta. You'll have to ask around to find out where to purchase it and where your devices will get reception - Mara doesn't cook breakfast for visitors but there are stalls and restaurants close to the residence that you can purchase food from - The electricity does go out...

'Goed voor 1 of2 nachten bij aankomst in Varadero, niet ver van de airport. Ligging klopt absoluut niet met wat aangegeven staat op de hotel.com kaart. Moeilijk te vinden dus, weer natte vingerwerk? De 2e in de rij reeds.'

'De ligging van deze Casa klopt niet met wat aangegeven staat op de kaart bij hotels.com. Vervelend als je kiest voor een verblijf dichtbij het busstation en dan blijkt dat het enkele km's verder ligt. Natte vingerwerk? Verder was het verblijf oké. '

'Appartement was really Nice! Super big living room/kitchen, a nice porche with grass outside and one street away from the beautiful beach. It is not in the all inclusive resorts area, so the beach was still nice and beautiful. Cheap drinks (in reference to the rest of varadero). And the host had good Cuban restaurant tips+ was always available when needed. '
