'Si vous pouvez avoir une chambre avec balcon c’est mieux, mais sinon le jardin compensera! La vue est magnifique et le calme fait du bien après la foule des villages. Hébergement simple, propre et avec l’essentiel. Le propriétaire est très arrangeant et rend volontiers service. Le seul bémol: on entend un peu les occupants des autres chambres, mais c’est tout à fait acceptable. Un très bon rapport qualité prix, hébergement « sans chichis » 😉'

'The hotel was very close to the central train station. Which is also easy access to go to Cinque Terre. Very easy to find and it’s steps away from the plaza where you walk and shop and eat or drink. 'The First is a very nice small apartment complex in a lively area in La Spezia. The very nice host Andrea went out of his way to make our trip very great. We were given great Cinque Terre tips and suggestions for restaurants. The hotel is very clean and modern. The only thing I would change is a little more privacy by having the bathroom window closed. Bathrooms are best when they're private. Had a great experience overall! '

'Everything about this hotel was amazing. The breakfast was perfect with over the top fresh fruit and pastries to choose from each day. The room was clean, comfortable and had a perfect patio to enjoy the vibes of Monterosso. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to anyone interested in visiting the area.'

'Great hotel! The room had a comfy bed and pillows. I loved that there was a desk and chair. The room is really dark and quiet at night. Close to the train station so easy to get to Cinque Terre. Make sure to contact the hotel before checking in since there is no one on-site. I had trouble checking in because of this. Also, I had trouble with the wifi working/staying connected.'

'Geweldige locatie, direct achter het station en dicht bij het centrum (300 mtr.). Overigens geen last van lawaai of zo. Prima uitvalsbasis als je de Cinqe Terre wilt bezoeken. Kamers zijn praktisch maar leuk ingericht. Je krijgt van Erica ( of een collega) ontbijtbonnen die je in één van de vijf geselecteerde cafeetjes kunt besteden. Simpel ontbijt; koffie/thee, croissant en een glas jus. Er zijn (beperkt) privé parkeerplaatsen beschikbaar, is wel aan te raden.'

'The property is very clean and was very comfortable. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The walk to it is a challenge, all uphill, but worth the effort.'

'The view from the balcony is absolutely amazing. Well worth the walk up the steep hill. The bed is super comfortable and the balcony is the best thing ever. On the downside, the shower is extremely small and very slippery to get out of, given that water sprays all over the entrance. The wifi is very patchy when sitting on the balcony but is good inside the room. '

'Bien situé, belle chambre, propre, restauration et boutiques directement à la sortie de l'établissement. Piste cyclable à proximité, location de vélos tout près. Matelas beaucoup trop dur...un juste milieu serait préférable pour satisfaire la majorité. Bar-resto tout près...musique très forte jusqu'à minuit. '

'Comfortable and reasonably priced accommodation in the lovely village of Corniglia. The staff were helpful and accommodating. We loved our stay. Would recommend trying to get the room with the terrace which has more space to spread out and enjoy the stunning view. The garden below was a nice spot to relax as well. Would highly recommend. '

'Echt fantastisch uitzicht uit kamer of tuintje, maar de foto's bedriegen wat. Tuintje of terras is er wel, maar geeft niet uit op de kamers. Airco werkt niet, en niet alle ramen hebben muggengaas, en ja er zitten veel muggen. Ontbijt is echt de prijs niet waard, restaurantkeuken is van degelijke kwaliteit. Locatie is een goede uitvalbasis om cinque terre te verkennen'

'Voor ons zeer moeilijk te vinden maar uiteindelijk bij toeval toch gevonden. De routebeschrijving mag wel wat beter. De stilte is heerlijk en rust op die locatie is gegarandeerd. Heerlijke plek om te verblijven.'
