'Excellent communication. Ample parking. The property was immaculate, with a nice mix of modern and antique furniture. The kitchen had everything you could need, and more. Comfortable beds. Lovely grounds with great views, and we were treated to a couple of amazing sunsets. Would definitely stay here again.'

'Very quiet and low lit area - perfect for stargazing. No WiFi so the kids stayed off their devices and enjoyed watching the chickens roam around freely. My little boy even got to help feed some which he thought was brilliant. Mary and her husband are top class hosts! Would definitely recomendthis place to anyone who wants a quiet rural getaway. '

'The Stables is a charming and spacious property. We were thrilled to find it beautifully decorated for Christmas and an amazing basket of goodies/treats that we enjoyed throughout our stay. We were disappointed to find many of the light bulbs burned out or nonfunctional, leaving no lighting in the main hallway. Heating such an old home is always challenging, so not surprising to find the first floor very cold and the upstairs quite warm. The pillows and mattresses throughout the house left much...

'A newly renovated property situated in a small village offering comfort and welcome for our family holiday. A spacious and well stocked kitchen with good amenities. The garden and patio area were perfect for evening drinks and dining with comfortable patio furniture. The house contained all we needed for an excellent week and is close to many attractions and within easy reach of beaches.'

'The house is very spacious and well equipped. The spiral staircase up to the two bedrooms is very steep and narrow, this could prevent some less able people accessing this area. It is too steep for younger children without very close supervision. The location of the house is very peaceful, great for a relaxing time together.'

'As far as the stay I honestly couldn’t fault it my bed was super comfy I stayed in the queen suite with shared bathroom it was spotless and warm too Helen had the radiators on and an electric blanket in the bed which was much welcomed as I stayed mid- January. If you do stay in this room just switch the blanket on and wait an hour you might not be able to feel it to the touch but once you get into bed you’ll feel it. There was plenty of tea & coffee plus nice little touches like water chocolate...

'The hosts couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. It was personalised and the pod was beautifully clean. It had so many features that fitted in amazingly and were very useful. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!'

'Absolutely spot on what it says. The house has everything you need. The host said all we needed to take was, food, drink & charcoal for the BBQ. This is so true. The bedrooms, bathrooms, the kitchen & living area were spacious. With the living area going straight onto the patio area to the pool with several areas to sit & relax. This property is superb.'

Possibly the best stay in the area
"Not the first, and won't be the last time I have stayed here. Very cosy pub, good food, friendly staff and comfi bedroom with easy parking. What else could you wish for? On this occasion, I even was able to help them with a beer dispense issue (my previous profession) so a good stay all round. Looking forward to my next stay."
