'An Old Fashioned (in the best sense of the word) lake side hotel with a creaky, quirky charm we found endearing. We stayed in a second floor room that might charitably be described as snug. However, the indoor and outdoor common areas, particularly the abundance of seating with westward facing views of the lake, more than make up for it. 'Bathrooms are up to date, and the hot water comes quickly! We enjoyed learning the Inn was originally a railroad depot. Located on a pretty quiet street, with excellent blackout curtains. We had a lovely stay.'

'Fun “tiny house” to stay in when exploring the Western Catskills. Good location for exploring Delhi, Hobart, Stamford, etc. Great for a solo traveler or maybe a couple, not much room for more but that is the point!'

'Restaurant bar on first floor was a lovely amenity but best feature by far is access to Catskills Scenic Trail just behind the inn. Great stay.'

The grounds look very nice and you can tell the owners take pride in their property. We will definitely return in the future. Do not hesitate to book a room at the Village Motel.'

The property owners were friendly and so easy to communicate with, starting the day before we arrived saying everything was ready for us. I would gladly stay here again if I am ever in the area.'
