'This property sits back in a grove of trees and flowering plants but within 5 minutes walk to the beach. Enjoy breakfast or a late afternoon cocktail at the outdoor table shaded by said grove. Simply but satisfactorily appointed, the accommodations are great for a weekend getaway or a week at the beach. Newburyport and it’s many attractions and restaurants is a short 10 minute drive back from this property'

'This was a great weekend spot for my family of four, 2 adults, 2 kids. The cottage seems recently flipped and well done. Bunk beds were a hit with the kiddos and the waterfront was much more peaceful and quieter than expected. Close to plenty of food and activities.'

'Three of us stayed at this amazing hidden gem for a friendship get away reunion. 9 of us in total, and hands down we had the best accommodations by a country mile. The cottage spotless, impeccably decorated, and thoughtfully appointed with everything from toiletries, water, snack, beach towels, etc. The beds were super comfortable and it was so conveniently located. 'Lovely house made us feel right at home even with 2 kids and two dogs! Slight issue getting in on the first night but owners were available and able to help us right away. We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday but this would be great place to stay in the summer too! Several places to eat at the end of the street.'

'Very cute spot! Lake was beautiful. Close for Ubering to and from Salem which is why we were there. There seemed to be a miscommunication on allowing us to check in early, however, bc when we arrived dirty towels were still in a pile on the bathroom and the bed sheets were used. Not a huge deal, we stripped the bed ourselves and added new sheets and cleaning crew came around 45 minutes before “normal” check in and did the rest. Also was pretty cold at night and in early morning and unsure how...

'At arrival found out that the number pad entry wasn’t working, called the property manager, she was helpful and explained an alternative way to open the door, but it seemed they were aware this was an issue and didn’t let us know ahead of time. The floors weren’t very clean in the common areas. The bathrooms were clean. The mattresses were on bed frames with no box springs. I’m guessing this home has recently been turned into a Vrbo and still needs some work. The house is in a cute small town...

'Loved this place. Great location and it was a very quiet space (though I did go and off-season at the beginning of May). Stove and microwave took some getting used to, and I didn’t use the oven, but the kitchen was great. It’s a small space, and the loft is open to the living area so it’s best for a couple that goes to bed at the same time or someone traveling solo. Wish they had a fire pit, but the space was great.'
