'This is our 2nd stay at the lodge and we loved it just as much as the 1st. Location is lovely and as it was colder than when we booked last time, the heating and fire were very quick to warm the lodge. Fabulous stay!!!'

'A very relaxing holiday in this comfortable accommodation with great lakeside views and a wide variety of bird life. There are 5 pubs in Barton, some with good food and ales only 15 minute walk away. Sunday lunch in the newly renovated George Inn was particularly tasty and good value. Walks in the Lincolnshire Wolds , a trip to Cleethorpes 30 minutes drive away, and a quick bus caught just down the road took us to Hull in 30 minutes for a day round the old town and marina. Highly recommended...

'Out of the city with lots of space for the children. Appreciated having access to things in the house made for the kids (dishes, games, yard toys). Communication with host was very quick and there was a lovely welcome basket full of treats when we arrived!'

'We booked the shepherds hut for our 1st wedding anniversary. It was better than we thought. The hut was clean and lovely with everything we needed. The bed was comfy and the area was great too. We have no complaints at all and would definitely visit again :)'
