'Great hotel with boutique rooms. The staff were simply amazing, so friendly and helpful. Our room was huge and although a bit tired in places was spotlessly clean. We upgraded from continental breakfast to full English and omg, it was so good and a very large portion. I must also mention the coffee which was, and this is no exaggeration the best we have ever tasted, it was from ‘Forge’ coffee roasters in Sheffield if you are interested. 'Wonderful little independent hotel handy for our trip to Leicester. Booked two rooms - both comfortable and fine. Room 7 however had a large extractor fan right outside the window and was a little noisy. Only fault in an otherwise excellent stay with a fantastic optional breakfast. Particularly polite and helpful staff.'
