'The hosts were really great at answering any questions prior to check-in and also touched base with us to ensure we had all we needed. The property itself was beautiful. It was so nice waking up in the morning, having coffee on the back porch and listening to the birds. It was a pretty short/enjoyable walk to restaurants and nightlife and the driveway was awesome for quick parking of our car. Would highly recommend to anyone who's looking to visit Maui! 'This little place was beautifully updated and full of all the little details you could need. Very clean and accommodating for my husband and I. Extremely friendly owners that are not bothersome at all. Jon was so welcoming and friendly and offered us ideas and locations to hit up while there. Its a busy but sweet little neighborhood in the center of the whole island, so you don't have a long commute to reach your adventures. Traffic and birds are heard throughout the day and roosters at night....

'Based up previous review, we expected it to be simple, but clean and fully functioning. Surfaces were not all clean, some small things didn't work, and it was very difficult to communicate with the hosts (gave us no local contact email or cell # and VRBO app didn't work for contacting host). It would have been great to have some sort of cottage notebook with info about local areas, beaches, restaurants, and driving distances from house. No local info provided; had to search everything ourselves....

'This beautiful property is perfect for those that want to get away from the large resorts and have nice place to come home to after a day of swimming, snorkeling, or sightseeing. It has one of the best stocked kitchens to do your own cooking along with a ton extras for your beach adventures. 'Pros and cons to this stay. Pros are it's big, the location is great; I did like the shower a lot! Cons are there is no AC. Yes, I realize many places on Maui do not have AC. The descritions reads "open air" and it just didn't register with me at the time of booking. So if you are a person that is remotely hot natured, don't book this in May.
