'We really enjoyed our stay at Swallows Nest. The cottage is spacious, light and well equipped. We enjoyed the countryside, local walks and of course the swimming pool, the steam room and the lovely garden. Chris was very helpful making the booking and check-in very smooth. No surprise that the cottage is booked until late November, but we will be back :-) Thank you, Chris and Erick'

'We had the most wonderful weekend at this lovely place. The cottage has everything you need with lovely outdoor areas to relax and watch the wildlife. Chris and Erick were great hosts who were very welcoming. Chocolate cake,fruit bowl,biscuits and milk were a lovely touch as an arrival package. What can i say about the grounds STUNNING! The pool and jacuzzi was perfect after a long day treading around historical sites for our little girl. Super relaxing stay. We will be back.'

About 10 minutes walk to the city center downhill. So a good exercitie on the way back. ;-) Communication about everything was very good! Sue is a great host. Grtz. from a dutch family!'

'Prachtige cottage op rustige lokatie. Mooie landelijke omgeving. Prima uitgangspositie voor allerlei uitstapjes. Vlakbij stad Hastings met mooi oud centrum en aan zee. Een absolute aanrader deze cottage !'

'We were very tired and happy to find our room. The staff was very friendly and we had a very fine meal. That night there was live-music, which was very pleasant and it even stopped at a for us pleasant time. ;-) The room was ok and clean. The stairs were very narrow, but obviously that cannot be changed easyly.....'

'The host was acomodating and really helpful. Easily accessible via texts. We never actually saw her. Room was prepared for us and welcoming, refreshments were available on arrival and kid found little fridge greaf. Some little things in there that makes the room not be worth 10/10 like little TV never working or shower leaking so needing to use one of towels to make sure we don't drown neighbours, but we would return providing that the order becomes easier. Unsure if I'd book via hotels.com...
