The country location provides the rare blend of being away from the city but still having easy access to downtown Pittsburgh. We averaged 30 minutes from the cabin to PNC Park for Pirates games - a very easy drive -- and could have opted for the trolley just a few minutes away. 'The only issue was the fact that we had to pay extra for internet. This is in the listing but really should be communicated upfront and not just when checkin instructions are sent. I’d suggest bringing this up at the very beginning and include however many packages of 12GB can be used. The cabin was a bit tight for 6 people but 5 would be great. Super well maintained and close to sites.'

'I had a peaceful retreat weekend at Spring House. The cabin was just as pictured on Vrbo. The picture windows in the dining room have clear views of the woods and the stream. I walked onto the deck to listen to the stream and look up at the trees, even though it was chilly outside. The cabin inside was warm and cozy. I would definitely stay in the cabin again in the future when I need quiet time away. It is also a short drive to Fallingwater, and I enjoyed a guided tour of the UNESCO world...
