'Hotel vlak bij centrum Pienza (1 min lopen). Prima hotel op alle vlakken echter het zwembad was in het midden van veel bouwactiviteiten erom heen. Geen aankleding, geen parasols (bij 38 graden), compleet sfeerloos en gedomineerd door de bouwactiviteiten links en rechts ernaast. Te duur voor de huidige staat van activiteiten en dit zou op zijn minst vermeld moeten worden. Dit was langdurig, niet tijdelijk. '

Acomodação muito charmosa, serviço fantástico fora do comum e café da manhã e amenidades maravilhosas. Muito espaçoso e aconchegante. Tínhamos um piano em nossa sala. Bebidas, licores, castanhas e comidinhas disponíveis sem custo durante todo o tempo. A Elena é muito atenciosa em todo o atendimento....

'This was a beautiful property well maintained and perfectly located in a historic building. The breakfast was delicious, Ricardo the host was wonderful and our room was space and comfortable! The only comment was without A/C the windows needed to stay open and the street was loud.'

'The room has excellent views in a space that oozes character. The shared spaces and rooftop terrace were a very cool added bonus. We stayed in the blue suite and found it spacious and comfortable. The only slight issue was a faint odor coming from the second bedroom. We didn’t use that room and closing the door solved the problem for the rest of the suite, but it is worth noting. I know some people will complain that it is on the third floor and there is no lift, but frankly if this is an issue...

Dogs barking next door all night, poor WiFi connection in the end room where I was. Two single beds put together meant a ridge down the middle! Expensive breakfast (15€) for what it was.'

'Mooi hotel interessant gebouw. Oud kasteeltje. Prijs kwaliteitsvertoning erg goed. Prima ontbijt. Moet wel een paar trappen op met alle bagage, maar dat vonden we niet erg. Een nachtje geslapen om de filedruk te omzeilen richting zuiden. Prima hotel direct aan de snelweg dus uitstekend te bereiken. Aanrader. Mooi zwembad erbij.'

This place is wonderful for the obvious reasons: the view, the pool, the jacuzzi, the copious space, the charming home. But, the secret and most clutch amenity is named Alice. She has exquisite taste and knows everyone and everything surrounding the property. She helped us get to the best butcher, and arrange the tours that truly made our trip magical. Gotta della Pieve is tiny and charming and...

'We had a super nice holiday at this villa. The house is lovely. The kitchen had everything that we needed. There were plenty of towels and extra towels for at the pool. The covered dining area was a perfect place for family meals. We especially enjoyed the peace and quiet of the countryside and the beautiful setting of the villa.'
