'This accommodation worked great for us. Great location for a ride on the Erie Canal Trail. It isn’t a fancy place but has eating and antiques nearby. There is a working kitchen for those who want to cook or make coffee and a living area separate from bedroom. You will find a do it yourself bike shop area across the street in the mill across the street. 'Great room! Super cozy space. Really liked my pillows. Newly remodeled bathroom with soaking tub, awesome shower. Grounds are pretty. Staff is very welcoming. They have a thoughtful enhancement package: flowers, wine, cheese board available. Great tea selection. Classic Victorian decor in the common areas. I was only here for one night, but it was relaxing and very enjoyable. '

'The room was large, the mattress and pillows were very comfortable. A special breakfast was prepared for my dietary restrictions and the innkeepers were delightful. They recommended a restaurant within walking distance that was wonderful. Definitely recommend if you’re visiting cooperstown!'

'This bed and breakfast excelled beyond all expectations! The property is exceptionally beautiful with many historic features scarcely seen except in museums of great old houses. Our host couldn't have been more wonderful and he helped us out after a long ride on the Erie Canal Trail. The amenities were excellent. I would go to Fort Plain just to stay there again. 'This B&B was one of the highlights of our trip to Cooperstown. Not only was the historical building gorgeous and beautifully (painstakingly!) restored, but the entire staff was warm and welcoming. The breakfast was DELICIOUS (thanks, Chef!), the in room amenities were top quality, and the room itself was cozy and quiet. It’s walkable to the Baseball HOF and other Main Street attractions. We cannot wait to come back! Highly recommend! '

'B&B is brand new and well-thought out. Very convenient parking. Inside the decor is farmhouse style … tastefully decorated! Each bedroom is named - cute idea! And each has a combination lock. Sunrise room kept locking so we left our bedroom door open. May want to check that. Beds are super comfy! As is the bedding! Each room as a television, another plus! 'Pros: Valerie is a kind host, and the property is in one of the most beautiful areas I have ever stayed. Cons: There is one shared bathroom on the first floor. There is no bathroom in the room, or the one next door which I saw when I found out that the dividing door was not locked. The pillows did not have liners in the pillow cases and were stained so we did not use them. The sheets had other people's hair on them, so we didn't use the cover sheets or blankets.
