'Worst hotel experience. My deluxe 2 bed hotel room got downgraded to a single bed room two days prior to my arrival without any email, text, or notification telling me this. Apparently Expedia changed the room and since they're a "third party" the hotel couldn't do anything or give me any money back. They told me they would bring bedding up for the pull out couch I was not excited to use, but they did not. 'The property itself and the rooms are lovely. We arrived at supper time on friday night. Found no one on site to check us in. Had to call a phone #, which told us i should have received an email with check in information, i did not. Also i had no internet to check that. Eventually got checked in. Door code didn't work. Had to call back, have it reset from them. By this time 7 pm and no restaurant in town open. Drove to Gore Mountain ski hill, food and service was awesome. Sat went hiking...

'We had a family get together for a couple days prior to Christmas. There were 5 adults and 3 children (3 and under in age).The host was very responsive and pleasant to deal with. The property was extremely comfortable, well stocked kitchen, modern bathrooms, wood burning fireplace (firewood provided).The property even had a beautifully decorated Christmas tree for us all to enjoy.
