Hostels in Canada

'Had to stay a couple weeks as an emergency. First started in the ladies dorm, I didn't find the bathrooms/showers very tidy. The moved to the big co-ed dorms. Bathrooms and showers there much better. I also didn't feel uncomfortable leaving my items in the room. Never had an issue w staff, all were very helpful and accommodating It gets messy because honestly it's sharing with so many different people going through things. Kitchen always full but was very homely. It's fine for staying one night...

'Super leuke bedden! Ze zijn comfortabel, met kleine compartimentjes voor een gsm ofzo in te leggen, een nachtkastje en kapstokken voor je jas. Super handig. De badkamer was in de slaapzaal zelf, ook handig. Er zijn ook douches en wc's in de gemeenschappelijke ruimte zodat je niet moet wachten. Grote keuken met meerdere ovens. Grote frigo. Relatief dichtbij het centrum. Ik kom binnen een paar dagen terug naar Montreal en verblijf met plezier opnieuw in dit hostel.'

'Stayed in a two bedroom There was a lot of noice from out side and inside In the morning the showers from the floor above us were leaking in the showers on our level. The building, beds etc is just very old and needs work. The people who work there were super nice! '

'I had a very hard time locating the unit. I was tired tired tired. Missed the stairwell and then walked very far out of my way with my suitcase. It was dark when I checked in. A ride via golf cart- would have been amazing. Still. Great price and convenience and loved staying on campus. '

'The concept is nice, staff are friendly and very helpful. There are however only a few showers and bathrooms per floor (in some cases just one) if they are occupied you have to walk to a different floor'

'Great experience if you want to get to know new people. Nice sleeping area, though small because 6 beds in one room. Good waiting area. Nice built in bar.just don't use the kitchen.'

'There where a number of school trips that came in late, some of the linnen was brown and the bed was small (i am about 6 feet tall and I just fit in it). Also the bed shakes very easily. The breakfast was good though.'

'Decent hostel at decent enough price. Has plethora of room options which was nice. the staff are super friendly and are helpful with questions and enquiries. They have their own bar which is a good hanging out spot in the evenings to meet other people staying in the hostel. Their location is pretty convenient and close by to the downtown area.'
