'Unique, cute little town where the community makes your stay feel like home and welcoming. Great staff and energy around the community. Very animal friendly, a nice change :) they were also sweet and accommodating. Lived the kitchen and lounge features as well as we felt like we were in a museum, so much to look and learn about. 'Here's the deal - this place is good and the reviews I think if the property leaned in to being a bit more "hostel" than a hotel or bed and breakfast even, their reviews would be a lot more fair. My issues are mostly from lack of communication. Booking through Expedia made it hard to check in (since there's actually no physical person to check in with - and it's done online on their own website.. so if you book here, your email will not be the same as the check in one, so you have to call or...

' I had to call in order to get an code to get into the house. Other B&B send it in advance once you have paid. I was the only one in the house and got an upgraded room, accomodation was ok for the rest'

'Our family of 5 enjoyed MacPherson house immensely! It was clean and spacious. We were able to look on site but we opted for the restaurant on property which was Brillant. We will be back.'
