'Rarely does anything, any place or anyone OVER-deliver on a promise but the Star Gazer does. The deck cooking area and banos with showers inside and out were my favorite part. The Airstream itself is cozy and clean and the expansive view was life affirming. We had one tiny problem when we arrived but the host picked up our call and quickly talked us through it. 'We highly recommend staying at this property! We fell in love with the serenity the retreat offers and would gladly return. The drive to Big Bend is around 40 minutes making this location a good spot for travelers to the park. The retreat is fully equipped and we recommend a stop to Alpine for supplies before arriving. 'The property was about as close to Big Bend NP as we could get. The view from the front porch was spectacular (especially at sunrise) and the night sky was incredible. We even saw a small herd of javelinas on the property as we were leaving. The property itself satisfied our needs. The owners gave us great directions to this remote location and tips on what to wear and what supplies to bring. Overall a great experience!'
