'The bed was super comfortable and the place was clean and tidy. The tv was not a smart tv as stated and the shower was very small , I’m glad neither of us were big people as it was tight to get between the shower and sink to use the toilet and there was no tv in the bedroom , we found on arrival a hot tub which I wish we knew about , unfortunately it was not the weather to use it. yes we would stay again despite the few little negative things . '

'This is an old-fashioned hotel with mostly elderly guests. The breakfast is very simple and typically British. No concessions to tourists. The beds are hard. It is simple and clean but not very pleasant.'

'Very friendly staff and lovely restaurant/ bar. Bit confusing as a walking couple arriving at the station and trying to find the hotel but when leaving found the easy route back to the train station. If researched better would have been easy.'
