'The staff are excellent, always keen to help. The location is stunning. The place offers excellent self catering accommodation with a nice dining area. The lounge could be bigger with more chairs should you want to watch TV. The WiFi, although available in the communal areas, wasn't great but I believe it's a problem in the area. The accommodation I booked wasn't what Expedia made me believe it would be but the staff provided a very good alternative. The radiator wasn't on ( autumn stay), but...

'This was such a find! Stayed one night with friends in a private room while we hiked in the Brecon Beacons and it was perfect for what we needed. Perks included - plenty of drying rooms (it rained the whole time we were there so this was very much needed!), restaurant and bar, cosy lounge with fire and board games, and a sink in the room. Easy to find, plenty of parking, and great location. If I'm in the area again I will definitely come back.'

'It's a youth hostel. So facilities are basic. Location on the shore is excellent, bit remote if you don't have a car.'

'Hotels.com showed a DOUBLE EN SUITE room here. There is NO such room. We were allocated a 6 bed dorm room for our exclusive use butNO en-suite. This was totally unsuitable for our needs. The YHA were as helpful as possible but we had to leave after first night'
