'Wonderful hotel, adjacent to train station and yet peaceful/zen. If it’s your first time to Kyoto and you have a lot of exploring to do, this is such a great location. I was a little concerned about not being able to walk out of the hotel to grab excellent food, but that couldn’t be farther from the case. '運良く、誕生日にコーナーダブルが予約できましたので、自身へのプレゼントとして宿泊させていただきました。 お部屋は広く、清掃が行き届いていましたし、バルコニーから見える大文字も京都気分を高めてくれました。 お風呂も大きくて、ゆったり入ることができました。お部屋に備えてあるお茶やコーヒー、茶器、アメニティいずれも種類が豊富で素晴らしかったです。 ロビーの吹き抜けの雰囲気も朝ごはんも大満足で、良い思い出となりました。 インバウンドで宿泊費が高騰しており、立地が良いビジネスホテルだと、ブライトンホテルさん同等か以上の料金設定のところもあります。しかしながら、比べ物にならない接客の質を感じました(そもそも比べること自体が失礼なのでしょうが)。皆さん、とてもよく目配りされていました。 一つ欲を言えば、チェックイン、アウトとも必要最小限の事務的な会話しかなく、ビジネスライクな印象を受けました。もう少しフレンドリーな対応ですと、私の中ではパーフェクトでした。 でも、大変素晴らしいホテルだと思います。京都には年に何回か行きますので、是非また利用させていただきます。'

'Dit hotel heeft een perfecte locatie als je vanuit Kyoto andere steden bezoekt, omdat het hotel bijna pal naast het treinstation is gevestigd. De kamers zijn klein, maar verder prima. Er is een lounge ruimte waar je als gast tot 10pm terecht kan voor warme drankjes / water. Ook het ontbijt was erg goed! '

'My boyfriend and I stayed at Pocket for several days while visiting Kyoto. It is located in such a convenient area (walkable distance to Nishiki and transit). The property itself is clean and the staff are so friendly and helpful! It is definitely worth staying here for the price! The only complaint I have come from the other foreigners/tourists. Please be respectful of the space especially when maintaining cleanliness as this is a shared space. Otherwise, I’d definitely recommend Pocket hotel! '

'De kamer was keurig en groot genoeg. De badkamer is ingericht op het Japanse badritueel, wat betekent dat de badkamer letterlijk één grote natte ruimte wordt. Dat is niet altijd even handig. De wastafel zit buiten de badkamer en het toilet zit apart, dat is wel een pluspunt. Het ontbijt is zowel Japans als Westers, en behoorlijk compleet inclusief diverse eigerechten. 'Kamer met eigen badkamer geboekt maar tot onze grote verbazing bleek onze kamer helemaal geen badkamer of wc te hebben (en naar verluidt gold dit voor alle kamers in dit hotel). Dit was een grote teleurstelling, je gaat er toch vanuit dat wat je geboekt hebt klopt, maar dat is dus niet zo. Verder was het mooi nieuw en schoon. Het bed was hard omdat het matras te dun is, en doorzakt op de plank die eronder ligt. Personeel spreekt slecht Engels maar is wel behulpzaam. Inchecken via machine...
