'A really lovely house in a beautiful peaceful location. Comfortable ( especially the beds) and cosy. So nice to be able to go for walks straight from the front door and an ideal spot for visiting Avebury and other ancient sites in the area. The owner was friendly and helpful. Would love to return.'

'We really enjoyed our stay here, and would happily return. It’s close to both Marlborough and Avebury and there are lots of interesting walks from the latter. There’s a good pub within easy walking distance. Warm cottage, comfy large bed and a great shower. The host responded immediately to a question we had and was very helpful.'

'auf der Rückreise nach D haben wir einen kurzen Stop bei Dorotheas fewo eingelegt. Das Haus ist funktional eingerichtet und typisch aufgebaut für den Charakter kleinerer Orte im Süden Englands. Die Kommunikation mit Dorothea war unkompliziert, da die Vermieterin direkt im benachbarten Haus wohnt.'

'Easter weekend was an absolute treat staying at this super cool, quirky and supremely comfortable cottage. We could not have asked for more. Brilliant hosts, fabulous décor throughout with wonderful touches and kind thoughts put into treats, flowers, attention to detail, super duper products……I could go on and on. 100% recommend for peace and quiet in a beautiful part of the country, we LOVED every moment as did our dog. Bathtub was incredible, we felt very decadent with our non-alcoholic fizz....

'Stunning lodge in the most beautiful setting. This was our third visit to Lower Mill Estate. Coot Lodge is a very spacious 3 bedroom lodge - with double height living accommodation, huge decked area, with bbq. It’s close proximity to the spa and pool made it super easy to walk to. Lots of towels and clean bedding. We were spoilt for board Games. The property is so lovely that we didn’t really want to leave to go anywhere! We would highly recommend and would book to visit again.'

'There were ten of us (6 adults and 4 children) and we thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend together. There was plenty of space, comfortable bedrooms and everything one would expect to find in a property of this size. The outdoor games, the pool and the indoor games room were all great favourites with the children.'

'My family of 4 adults stayed here. It did not disappoint! Tim & Victoria are perfect hosts and the communication is great. They provide a lot of useful info to plan and stay at their home.. even have an app & book. Although they tried very hard to explain where to park to drop off our things, we failed...but it's ok. Once you found the home, it was easy after that. They left many goodies to enjoy. Thank you! Their kitchen is well-stocked and has a Nespresso machine with a milk frother. I loved...

'Bedrooms lovely but tight around beds. but en-suites quite roomy. So easy for different groups to do different things in the huge barn dinning/kitchen/lounge. Our 4 and 6 aged grand sons loved the space and outdoors games. Trampoline, football, table tennis etc. Google the grinding barn for easy location guidance as 3 of our 4 cars struggled with the given directions.'

"It was nice stay. The restaurant was not so good. Breakfast was all English for two days. Why bot some continental chees, ham... The shower was not proprely cleanded somf fungus. But was a nice place"
