'The Quarryman Arms is a wonderful experience. A beautiful Pub is on the main floor with rooms on various levels within the building. We stayed in a room in the basement that had so much charm. Little touches were appreciated, like two bottles in the honor bar that had tags saying, "This one's on us". The staff were great. 'The bedrooms have good facilities which adds to comfort, ie comfortable bed, Roberts radio, iron and ironing board, cafetière for your coffee as well as choice of teas. Large bathroom with good shower which was powerful and hot. We had dinner at the hotel and even though the food was okay, the service was slow. The staff were very apologetic but there were large parties in for dining and there are not enough waiting staff to cope.'

We kregen welkome tips over bezienswaardigheden in de buurt en advies over auto- en looproutes. Zowel het ontbijt als de lunch en het diner waren van goede kwaliteit en werden met trots opgediend. Het was een comfortabel en fijn verblijf.'

'We stayed at The Dundas when attending a wedding nearby, and it was just lovely. Wonderful staff, super friendly. Our room was great, the bed was so comfortable and I didn’t want to get out of it! 'Bedrooms lovely but tight around beds. but en-suites quite roomy. So easy for different groups to do different things in the huge barn dinning/kitchen/lounge. Our 4 and 6 aged grand sons loved the space and outdoors games. Trampoline, football, table tennis etc. Google the grinding barn for easy location guidance as 3 of our 4 cars struggled with the given directions.'
