Flats in Silicon Valley

'I didn't receive check-in information until i was leaving home for the airport, not helpful. The complex does not have a swimming pool, though hotels-com says it does. There is a small area to sit next to a large heated spa pool, but my fob never worked on the door to the area, despite numerous complaints. I was allocated an apartment on the ground floor with windows on one side only, looking over a walk way straight at another block or apartments. No direct sunlight, so the apartment was dingy...

'We stayed here as a family from Sunday through Friday, and it was perfect for our trip. I was working on the Stanford campus, which is just about 2 miles away and easily walkable. The location is also fantastic for exploring Palo Alto—downtown is an easy walk, and we enjoyed going out for dinner in the evenings. The house itself is comfy, quiet, and has relaxing décor that made it feel like a true home away from home. My son especially loved it, which made our stay even better. Highly recommend!'

'During our stay we travelled with with two adults and a teenager. Both bedrooms are well furnished for sleeping/ hanging out/ storing luggage. Kitchen and living area were clean and well equipped, all helping us have a comfortable stay. This place qualifies as a 'home away from home'. The neighborhood felt safe, walked around the block a few of the evenings during our stay and generally, very good vibes were to be had.'

'This was exactly what we wanted for our 4 days in the area. Very accessible to all of the shopping that Santana Row/Valley Fair has to offer. The actual apartment was extremely tidy (almost too tidy for our 4 and 6 year olds). Spacious enough for the 4 of us with. The two beds! Very easy for us to grocery shop and have breakfast every morning. Enjoyed the washer/dryer as we very much needed to use! 'Location, location, location. So easy to get to everywhere I needed to go without getting on a highway. The tenants in the building are uniformly friendly and helpful. The host, Jarrell, responds promptly and fixes any minor issues quickly. One con: There is no comfortable place to eat in the apartment! The kitchen island does not have room for one's knees. '
