'It was a quiet and clean place to sleep. That's the most important thing. The room was listed as a Double Queen, which was a surprise because when it was owned by Best Western this hotel didn't seem to have double queen rooms, just double Full rooms. So we go it since we had kids travelling with us. Nope, they're still just double full beds. That was flat out untrue. Not a real big deal, just be honest. Breakfast was great, the staff were very helpful, and the outside of the hotel was clean...

'they billed me wrong, they didnt see that I paid half up front to expedia, so in a dispute now. not happy :('

'You could have told us before we booked (indeed, even before we checked in!) that the main restaurant and the spa (the two amenities we looked forward to) weren’t open for the first two days of our three-day stay.'

'Run down. Carpets ripped, room had dirt in corner. 3 days no maid visits. Walls dirty in food prep area. Worker picked up bacon with bare hands. Bagels stale and hard. Elevator floor indicator floor 1&2 lights burned out. No regular tea available.'

'We stayed in one of the tavern rooms. While small, they are adequately sized for two people. Shower is small because it has to follow slope of the roof to maintain original look. That being said, the room had modern plumbing and electrical and a television. It was really cool to stay in a historical tavern inn and to be on the main street of the colonial buildings inside the historical area. '

'Voordeel van dit hotel is dat het erg dichtbij pretpark Busch Gardens Williamsburg ligt. De kamer was ruim en de bedden lagen prima. Echter zat er wel een grote gele vlek in het beddengoed en een oude bloedvlek. Medewerkers waren ook niet allemaal even vriendelijk.'
