'It was a great house for a group of people loved the area. some maintenance is needed - Toilet leaking on floor cistern broken ,running out of water while in shower ,9 people unable to use toilet in the morning the manager addressed this quickly but water pressure took a long time to come through ,a better pump is needed, shower fan not working ,a little garden maintenance .As a food safety supervisor I do not recommend leaving opened food in fridge and pantry ,you don't know how long it has...

'It's an old school built in 1858 converted into a little (actually not so little) Rock Star accommodation place. A true example of an excellent renovation job where old and new beautifully unite. You can sit on the deck, sipping gin & tonics, catch fish from the private jetty, watch water activity and the majestic sunsets, it’s superb. Recommend hiring a speed boat for multi-day stays if you have a family - Murray Bridge Speed Boat hire even delivers the boat direct to the private jetty!'

'Host was very accommodating however the property description doesn't match reality. Cooking was via a shared barbecue, washing up needed to be done in the bathroom vanity and the restaurant was closed. Most meals required a 20 minute drive to Nairne...or slightly further to Mt Barker. It would be OK for an overnight stay or weekend if you wanted to travel around the Adelaide Hills. Longer stays are very difficult.'
