'I was excited about this stay from the time I booked it over a month ago, but I did not know I would fall in love with it as much as I did. As a single woman, traveling alone, I never once felt uncomfortable, and was very happy with the accommodations made by the hosts. I will definitely be returning and bringing friends with me to have the same experience I did! '

'Host was great during check-in. He showed me around the property. Driveway was a little rough. Definitely not made for sedans or lowered cars but my small suv did fine. Did not show on vrbo but very perfect water view. Main house does have other lists and the property services all listing. The property give off summer camp vibes. The yurt is nice the ac is a god sent. It was high 90s the whole time i was there. The beds are air mattresses but again still nice. Plenty of places to grill or cook...

'It was a little chilly but Dirk gave us extra blankets and provided plenty of fire wood. He recommended the best local breakfast joint and gave us hiking trail suggestions. Dirk was a wonderful host. Can’t wait to come back in the summer'

'We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful wooded property and nice people. Not quite as private as we expected because fire pits were shared at the lodge, but facility was clean, well kept, with lodge closing at 11:00 so no noise. Fire pits were nice and wood was provided with plenty of seats and picnic tables.'
