'Building was constructed in the 16th century, so it has A LOT of character. The apartment is fully updated with a nice mix of old and modern styles. Ceilings are incredibly high. Very cool place, and people were extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.'

'The property is in a great location. It’s clean, safe and quiet and has air conditioning. It is located in old town and just steps from the Central Square. The owners were great to work with. We had a room refresh in our extended. Stay in the cleaners. Did a great job. We also extended our stay last minute and they were able to rearrange rooms so we didn’t have to move. We would definitely recommend this property.. '

'Le Genis is the perfect location for any type of traveler and is steps away from the center of Sarlat. There is a two minute walk to cafes, restaurants and shops as well as the Markets that are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays. We stayed in Le Genis for a month and found all the needed amenities for a more than comfortable stay. We will definitely be returning! '

'This is an oasis in the middle of Sarlat. The hotel is gorgeous with beautiful decor and very historic. We loved learning about the building. The personnel were so lovely. They were extremely welcoming and helpful. In particular, Katiya was so nice. Her breakfast spread was so generous and I loved speaking French with her! She even helped me with a laundry issue :) Natalie who checked us out was so helpful. She told us about a Chateau only 20 minutes away that we had almost missed! We were so...

'Een rustiek charmehotel net buiten de kern van Sarlat. Beetje moeilijk te vinden. Maar je wordt beloond. Een charmant verbouwd groot huis met kamers die nog authentieke detail bevatten. Gezellig lounge gedeelte. Zeer rustig: je hoort er werkelijk niets 's nachts. Vriendelijke en hulpvaardige eigenaar. Op ruim een km van het oude centrum van Sarlat. Ruime parkeergelegenheid.'

'Het historisch centrum ligt letterlijk om de hoek. Goed verzorgd hotel, verzorgd ontbijt en menu kaart voldoende variatie. Parkeren van de auto op 5 minuten loopafstand bereikbaar via een stijle trap en voor slecht ter been zijnde gasten kan dat lastig zijn. Personeel is erg vriendelijk, een fijn familie hotel'
