'Het is duidelijk een skiresort. In de zomer zijn nogal wat faciliteiten gesloten. De restaurants zijn veel duurder dan in de omgeving. Overigens een prima kamer en, als het weer het toelaat (we troffen helaas een koude, regenachtige dag) is het waterpark vast goed.'

'I cannot say enough good things about AWOL Stowe! I was visiting Stowe (and Vermont) for the first time for a short birthday trip. I stayed in the "1 King Bed Cabin" and it was SO dreamy - a little individual hotel room that was so cozy. It was nice to not share walls with neighbors, while also still feeling safe as there is plenty of people around. The staff also left a wonderful little carepackage in my room with birthday wishes. And the lobby of the hotel was exceptionally cozy and aesthetic....

'Adorable accommodations. Clean and comfortable room. I do wish we could bring our own food/beverages to the main room in the lodge. Since it was the room with the fireplace, games, etc., it was really the only common space. I realize they sold food and beverages. Sometimes you don't want to spend $$$ just to play Pictionary in front of the fire. Other than that, it was a perfect stay and I would absolutely book again. '
