'Incredible property and staff, remote location but worth the trip to disconnect for a week. We opted for the heli arrival and departure, this is a massive time savings and worth the cost to see the beautiful reef. The house and grounds were very well maintained and the staff was amazing. 'The best of both worlds! This property is stunning, and it really offered the best of both worlds. We were able to experience resort-style amenities and service, while enjoying the space of an AirBnB. Our suite was huge and gave us ample room to enjoy ourselves. 'absolutely a wonderful stay! beach pool pier and seclusion! a great space for a family of 4and if you need there is another casa on property so you can rent both spaces for a family retreat! simply a wonderful perfect place for our family of 4!!! couldn’t have asked for a more perfect space! 30 minutes from placencia but we didn’t want to be in the touristy spot! this was a perfect place for us! 'We just returned from a truly incredible week and a half at this amazing property — the absolute highlight of our time in Belize. 'We stayed at Mariposa when we arrived to Placencia and the last night before we returned home and it was perfect. Gladis was very welcoming at the reception, Donny was amazing at the restaurant and all the staff were friendly and very helpful. The bungalow was perfect for our family of 4, since they have bunk beds. The restaurant was good with a nice view of the ocean. They have nice swings, volleyball court, paddle boards and bicycles which is perfect to go in town. It’s less than 5 minutes...

'We loved our stay in the Turtle room! We had a last minute change in our itinerary and needed a place for only one night... But we wished we had more time at this spot! The owners are very kind and responsive. The room was very comfy and cozy. I appreciated all the shelving in the rooms and bathroom. AC worked great. And the screened in porch was really wonderful to hang out on. It's also in a great location for wandering around the village. '

'This island is AMAZING! Everything from the gorgeous water, snorkeling, kayaking, well appointed cabanas, friendly staff, to the phenomenal food! My husband and I really enjoyed our relaxing vacation. We love that it wasn’t a party atmosphere but a laid back and enjoyable one. We had the island to ourselves most of the time with day trippers only staying for part of the day. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique getaway suitable for lovebirds or families!'

'This is a beautiful, clean property very close to the sidewalk in Placencia. The hosts were GREAT, check in was a breeze and the AC was cold!! They have a small but deep pool on top of it all!! I highly recommend Driftwood Gardens and will definitely stay again. '

'Ocean Breeze Beach Resort is an incredible place to stay in Placencia. The entire staff is AMAZING and made our stay truly special. We can't thank them enough for making us feel at home on our vacation and ensuring we had everything we needed. The hotel is very clean and in a great location to experience all Placencia Village has to offer. Even if you don't stay there, be sure to visit Jolly & Mel at Toucan Jack's Tiki Bar!'
