« It's a lovely lakehouse! We (grandma, myself, my sister, her husband, and our two kids, 1 teen, 1 tween) had a great weekend. The view from the back porch is amazing- right on the water and you can see a gorgeous sunset. The swing was Grandma's favorite place. The weather was too windy for us to grill or have a fire, but there is a fire pit and grill that I imagine would be great to use. The house was clean and well equipped for cooking. « Great location for the Sackets Harbor marathon. We enjoyed the sauna and kayaking in the Black River. Not many dining options in Dexter, but close to Sackets Harbor and Watertown options. »

We found this place so comfortable and pleasant- outside is spectacular on the Lake-side; the full-length porch on the Pond-side was just as comfortable in a whole different, gentle way—- so everything outside is terrific. The house, itself, has an open feel, and is in good shape/ well maintained. « If you are looking for a place with proximity to fishing or to nature, this is a great location. Right across the street was access to a path that led to the river where you can fish. As well there was a lovely mile long hiking path along the river. Three state parks that are on Lake Ontario are less than 25 minutes drive away. Loved all three and two them have beaches.
