"Prima ontbijt, fantastische voorzieningen, maar ook populair bij groepsreizen, dus af en toe in de rij voor de lift en het buffet. Voor die prijs had er wel een extra flesje water vanaf gekund op de kamer."

"This was the second time that we stayed at Palacio São Silvestre. We really enjoy it here. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the food is good and allergy friendly and the staff is friendly. And it's a perfect location for some peace and quiet, while being close to the city of Coimbra. There are a few small things that could use some attention, like the water in the shower turning from cold to hot, then to cold and hot again, or things not hanging straight. But these are no reasons to stay away from this hotel. We will come back when we want to visit Coimbra and the centre of Portugal again. "

"Een hotel dat (hylarisch ingerichte) kamers in meerder huizen heeft in een straatje in Coimbra. Waanzinnig uitzicht over de stad. Geen lift, veel trappen, maar een fantastische, vriendelijke crew die op verzoek je koffer naar boven en beneden sjouwt. Ontbijt (in mand op de kamer) was matig, te hard afgebakken croissants en iets dat op jus d´orange moest lijken. Prima bedden, heerlijk douche."

"Personeel super aardig maar de omgeving leek een beetje onveilig. Decoratie en alles te ouderwets . Gelukkig we kregen voor 35 € meer een betere kamer met uitzicht."
