'We recently stayed at this property for just 2 nights as a base while exploring London, and we barely used the place, making it impossible for us to cause the kind of stains they later claimed. We received an email stating that a portion of our deposit would be kept due to “extra cleaning” for marks on the wall - which were already there when we arrived and are completely normal for a well-lived space and for a torn throw that was already in poor condition upon check-in. 'We had an excellent stay at Avon view, 18 of us 10 adults and 8 kids. The house is very spacious and so many different activities to do the kids were on the go every day! The tennis court, swimming pool and snooker table was a hit with everyone. The outside dining area with barbecue and open fire was used every night and was brilliant. All in all we had a great 3 nights at the house and would defo recommend! Thanks to Timo and Alena they were always on hand if we needed them.'

'It’s such a shame that the owners aren’t maintaining the property, On arrival the gate needs repairs ,the courtyard needs slabs replacing and just a general clean up ( weeds , debris everywhere and shabby bamboo hiding all sorts of things that shouldn’t be seen at a “ luxury barn “ . The main problems with the interior was a lack of windows with blinds that can be opened easily the downstairs bedroom with the patio doors had what looked like bin bags glued to the skylight windows. 'Nice place to stay loveley view but lack of maintenance cleanliness and communication'

'We loved the layout and the location was fantastic - a really short drive to the beach. Unfortunately it smelled quite badly of cigarette smoke and the washing machine smelled musty so we had to use the laundromat on site instead. We would have liked to have had some USB plugs. '
