'Àine and her family were amazing and so welcoming! She was quick to help us out with tips about the town, and where to get some much needed take-away after a long day of travel. The room was cozy and private, and the bath was restful. She also made us a delicious packed breakfast that we took with us and ate as a picnic on the cliffs of Moher. Lovely stay, will definitely be back!'

'Such a fun space with living area, kitchen & plenty of bedrooms and bathroom space for all of us (5 ). Kitchen could be better stocked with some basics (salt, pepper, oil) but good set up for a small group. Excellent location with tasty pub, restaurant, cafe options within walking distance. Off street parking was perfect - finding the place was a bit tricky but once you understand, it's great. Thank you to "Peter" who met us and was very helpful & responsive via text. Will totally stay here...

'Our family reunion of 6 stayed here for a week and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this amazing 450 year old Tower. We had meals and played games in the great room, viewed the sunsets from the rooftop ramparts and generally lived like the Royal family (minus the servants of course). It served as an unforgettable and spectacular setting for a long overdue reunion for our family. We would return in a heartbeat.'

'Beautiful house, very well equipped in a lovely, quiet spot convenient for Claremorris and the airport. Small herd of alpacas in the field beside the house are a delight. John and Sarah were happy to help with anything we needed and were very kind and accommodating when a storm disrupted our travel plans. Would highly recommend.'

'Kathleen was an excellent host and made us feel very welcome. While there was an initial concern about birds in adjacent, tall trees, it turned out to be a peaceful, quiet setting and very comfortable. We used it as a base for exploring Galway and surroundings, including the Kylemore Abbey.'

'If you look for a quiet and beautiful place with a breathtaking view, this is the place to be. Very nice house full equipped for cooking. The perfect location for visiting Connemara or just fishing and angling.'

'Excellent place to stay for a couple nights. Host is very accommodating with the little extras like coffee and milk. Any concerns we had were addressed immediately. Have dinner next doors at the Huntsman Inn - especially the soups.'
