Herbergen in Winona State Forest

'There is some potential here but many of the amenities are over looked and not very appealing. For example, a broken down Bobcat is what you’ll be looking at as you sit at the fire pit. Hot tub is luke warm with no way to control temperature. Pretzel appetizer was inedible. And unfortunately if you hope to have a room with a view, many rooms look out to the side of buildings. Our view was the side of a storage shed. They offered to move us to another room overlooking a parking lot…not worth it....

'Om er voor 1 nacht te verblijven is het prima, maar zou hier zeker niet langer willen verblijven. Op de kamer waar we zaten, veel schimmel aan het plafond en niet goed schoon. In het gehele hotel veel vocht beestjes aanwezig. Dit kan misschien komen omdat ze overstroming hadden gehad door orkaan debby.'

'I think that post-Covid I've encountered a lot of hotels that have like 1 employee on the premises overnight. We arrived around 10pm and 3 different staff members jumped into action to get us checked in quickly and bring a roll-away cot up to our room. A great experience!'

'I stayed here as a pit stop before my friends wedding. The room was clean, hotel is dated but it was fine overall for one night. The bathroom plumbing was a bit iffy but good enough! Overall, good place to spend a night or two, pleasant staff as well.'

'This was an older hotel, that was poorly taken cate of. Our door saw outside light. It was old and not a place I would stay again. The clerk was very plesant. It was near some restaurants, but nothing really great.'
