'Dit was een heerlijke plek. Er is zoveel ruimte dat je elkaar zelfs met 18 personen niet in de weg loopt. Op de warme dagen vind je elkaar bij het zwembad, de pingpongtafel, in de grote tuin of bij de ingebouwde bbq. Op koudere dagen is de fijne grote keuken (met twee ijskasten en twee vriezers) een gezellige plek om te zitten. Er zijn zoveel kamers om uit te kiezen. Eigenaar Patrice is ook een prettig persoon. De omgeving heeft niet zoveel te bieden. Maar dat vonden wij geen probleem, omdat wij...

'We had a wonderful stay in Montignac-Charente. The apartment is a short walk to the town center and we enjoyed stopping in at the patisserie and the cafe. A full grocery store is a short drive away. Our dogs also loved long walks along the country roads beside fields filled with sunflowers. Our host met us when we arrived, kindly showed us how everything worked, and even gifted us some apple preserves that tasted fabulous on our morning croissants. There was more than enough room for the 4 of us...

'Such a great house! Will definitely return when the pool is open! As described, very spacious, lots of outside space including pizza oven and bbq. Lots of covered outdoor space for all weathers. Gates close so perfect for dogs. Restaurants/bars/supermarkets only 5 minute drive. So peaceful and quiet and typically French 😊'

'We all loved our time at Nicholas’ house. There is so much to do at the house and it is surrounded by a wall which makes it very easy to be with young families. We picked the vegetables and fruit, fed the chickens and absolutely loved spending time in the river. The pool is beautiful and the house is homely and elegant with everything you need for a happy and easy stay. Nicholas was extremely communicative and kind. We would love to come back again as a group or with others - thank you so much.'

'Absolutely brilliant two weeks. Enjoyed listening to the river as well as drifting along in it. Saw wonderful wildlife. Perfect and tranquil setting. Elaine and Richard were perfect hosts, there if needed but both us and them had privacy. Would highly recommend '

'We hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf in Lezay. De woning ligt in een zeer rustig gehucht, maar is een ideale uitvalsbasis voor verschillende bezienswaardigheden. De woning voorziet in alles, er mag enkel nog wat extra ingezet worden naar hygiëne. De tuin is volledig omheind wat ideaal is voor de hond. ingezeworden '

Being able to just WhatsApp them with questions made everything so much easier! This is exactly the kind of place we were hoping for when we booked. Everything just worked smoothly, and we could actually relax and enjoy our holiday. Would definitely recommend it to other families!"
