'This was one of the nicest places we've stayed.Roomy, cosy, very comfy beds, excellent kitchen and lounge area and super warm,loved the electric blankets. loved the bath and the beautiful grounds. we genuinely wished we'd come a day earlier and stayed two nights. highly recommended.'

'We had the perfect base for our Martinborough visit. The bed was super comfortable, great shower and lots of hot water. Very well equipped with everything. Loved the space and inside/outside balance. 'Hot' tub (because we dialled the temperature down,) was a great relaxer at the end of a day of exploring and walking. We would happily stay again. Few things needed attention but property agents responsive to contact.'

'This is a very comfortable home in a quiet location close to Greytown’s lovely shops. We found the cigarette smell at the entrance a little off putting but inside was clean and tidy and we enjoyed our stay, it had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable and the shower was hot. We would happily stay there again.'

'We were looking for two main features - walking distance to the Square and an open fire for cold winter nights. The cute cottage had both and we enjoyed the stay. The big deck was great in the winter sun and would be fabulous in summer. We were 'chaperoned' by the property cat - very friendly, and compliant when guided back out the door at night.'

'Loved the fact that two bedrooms were in a separate part of the house and gave privacy to everyone. Bathrooms great, kitchen amazing and location was fantastic. Wish we had more time to use all the facilities like the pools. Would stay again.'

'Great house for a long family weekend. Some great boardgames for the kids and the bbq was very useful. Bedrooms all gave heating which is important in the cold winter. Lovely feijoa trees in the garden as well! Would happily stay again.'

'Forest House is warm, comfortable, spacious and attractively furnished. It is in a private and quiet setting close to Lake Ferry and Martinborough. The cleaning fee was on the high side for just 2 people, but it was very clean and well maintained and there was no problem keeping warm in winter with the fire and Air conditioning. Great communication, enjoyed our time at Forest House. Only thing we missed was a normal sized oven tray and a normal sized cheese grater! Other than that, perfect.'
