'Great location, excellent facilities. Staff very mixed - some incredible and some terrible. Cumulative number of issues but dealt with by a member of the management team after getting fed up of a number of things, Including: Dog mess left for > 24 hours after reporting it. Staff member laughed and clearly did nothing after reporting it. Not our dog. Had to call 4 times to get our daughters bed made up in the room. Despite being on the booking months in advance. Asked for an ice cream for...

'The Riveredge property is very dated, and in need of maintenance. A few specific items: clear packing tape used to close carpet seams throughout the building; poorly outfitted fitness center; in our room, a window that had fallen out of the track, and a sliding closet door that also out of track. Bed was uncomfortable. A bright spot: the Windows restaurant for breakfast. Overall, we were disappointed enough to cut our 6-day stay to 3.'

'Great hotel and staff. We have had more than 15 hotels this trip, but this one was the best! Good service, friendly staff and a lot of things to do. I would recommend this hotel to everybody and I hope to come back one day.'

'Excellent property all the way around, and superb racing facilities! Having both indoor and outdoor pools, and a functional hot tub, are amenities that other resorts overlook or neglect. Not here. These are a great bonus! Great racing…casino…and resort!! Six Stars!'
