'When we arrived at the property my husband thought it looked like the wrong place and had been abandoned for a long time because the grounds are not kept up well. Once inside it is very clean and nice. The balcony overlooks the mountains and valley. There are cute sheep & goats with bells near by who will greet you if you're walking into to town. There are many hiking trails near by and a special spring fed pond area that people use for health. You can swim but no suits allowed and it is...

'Location is fantastic! This is right in Lucerne old town. Everything is walkable from here. Since it’s right in the city, night time walks with gelato is easy. Property is fair, not fancy or upgraded recently but fair enough. Shower area is tiny so anyone about 5,11” and above can’t shower here. Overall a good stay. '

Disappointing

"Nice hotel but a few things should be improved: - Bedsheets had some holes and a black stain that could not be removed - Towels were very small for an adult to properly dry - Hair dryer was sticky and full of dust/hairs - The room was cold even if the heating was on - The parking was eventually not included or managed by the hotel - Gluten-free options during breakfast were very scarce (only heated up bread) and the personnel who delivered it brought it wearing the same gloves they were using to clean other tables (so not appropriate from a basic hygiene perspective and, even worse, from an allergy/cross-contamination point of view)"
