'A lovely little place to stay. Good points: well furnished; great outdoor space with sun for most of the day, including sunsets; good range of outdoor furniture; great bathroom and shower; comfy bed. Points to improve: a few cobwebs which we got rid of on arrival but would not have expected to have to do so; no microwave - one was listed on the vrbo listing; no separate sink in the food prep area - we had to use the bathroom sink - not ideal. The price we paid for this cabin was very reasonable....

'This was a lovely 2 night break for myself and my 11 year old son. The time of year was perfect for seeing the lambs in the fields right next to the hut and we enjoyed the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch steam railway too. The hut was more spacious than we imagined as well! Many thanks.'

'There was a slight mix up at the beginning of our trip - (The owners had not received confirmation of our booking until we arrived so they were not aware of any visitors enroute to them until we phoned when we were 5 minutes away!) However, the owners were extremely apologetic and very friendly and welcoming, they even gave us a bottle of prosecco for any inconvenience. 'We stayed with our dog for two nights. Mccanns is perfectly located, Tenterden within easy reach. We use the tap room the one night, nice beer & pizza. Challenger is located beside the other other three units right next to the car park overlooking a small field. The unit has good facilities, covering most needs for a comfortable break. Some nice touches, complementary items including milk. Has a massive shower/wet room & seperate bedroom with open access to the lounge/kitchen area. I would say...

'We’re massive fans of four in the bed and this stay did not disappoint. The location is superb and tranquil with pubs close by for dining. We stayed in the lookerer and this shepherd hut had everything you’ll need! We made the most of the amenities provided and had one of the best night’s sleep we’ve had when staying away from home. The host was accommodating with late check out, checking in information and even provided us with the opportunity to get closer to the lambs.'
