« Loved having access to a kitchen and a washing machine, much needed after 3 wks camping. Beds were supper comfy cozy, and contrary to other reviews we did not find the street noise bothersome, and we had the windows open. Traffic noise calmed by midnight. « Our shepherd hut in Pinewood was spotlessly clean and refreshed every day. Staff were always on hand if needed and really helpful at checkin (the process for checking in and out was seamless). Marshmallows, skewers, logs for the indoor and outdoor wood burners, and upmarket tea bags all complimentary; only let down by basic Nescafé coffee sachets and pots of UHT milk. « The cabin was beautifully curated and clean. It felt cozy and welcoming as soon as we entered. Pat & Joy were wonderful and friendly - Joy came to greet us when we checked in and made sure we were comfortable. She walked us through the property and told us about how everything worked. The patio and outdoor sofa was lovely for our coffee in the morning sunshine. We will definitely be going back soon. 10/10 »

« We spent a perfect NYE here. The hut was clean, well maintained and we had everything we needed for a peaceful hot tub weekend away. Hosts were friendly and helpful and we would definitely come back. I've already recommended it to a friend who has booked straight away. »

« The property far exceeded our expectations, clean, tidy and warm, it is located in a quiet location on the grounds away from the main house any you feel like your totally self contained. The owner lets you be, and sent just a couple of courteous emails in case we wanted things like change of towels. the property is only about 7min drive to the centre of Canterbury. »

« booked this property specifically because the listing said it had an oven, which was important as I was travelling for a strongman competition and had planned my meals around being able to cook. When we arrived, there was no oven, which completely disrupted my food prep and meant I had to change plans at extra cost.
