'The site is well placed for sightseeing, whether it's Canterbury or north, east or south for the coast. There are plenty of wildlife parks, we visited 3 and plenty of other good places to visit. At the end of each day it was the welcome sight of the lodge, knowing we could relax in the wonderful, comfortable, quiet surrounds of the site.'
