'Good for family (2 adults, 4 kids). Good location, 30 minute walk or 10-15 minute bus ride to the city centre. Clean apartment, some initial struggle with the front door key ‘technique’ but the video was helpful, could’ve done with a few more kitchen utensils / oven trays for self catering. Overall good, would stay again. '

'Pettycur Beach House was an absolute delight from start to finish. 'The cottage was clean, well appointed and made for a pleasant stay. It is in the heart of the village with food and coffee shops very close by, and just a short walk to the local pub. The beach is 10 minutes walk away, and Gullane is a lovely spot to explore from. '

'Vriendelijke eigenaar, fijn verblijf. Alleen jammer dat er vanuit de cottage geen wandelingen gaan. Alles moet eerst met de auto. Het huisje was schoon alleen de pannen waren vies en ook de bank was niet helemaal schoon.'

'The attic room was clean and very nicely decorated. The full bathroom was next door. There was a fridge, microwave and teakettle as well as mugs and dishes. '

'We enjoyed our stay, the cottage was clean and modern with lovely views. Worked as a good base to visit Edinburgh, Sterling, Falkirk, St Andrews & Kinross. '

'The house was in a great location, just 10 min walk from St Andrews Sq tram stop., With 7 people, we had plenty of space to spread out. Beds were comfortable . Just a few min walk to several coffee shops. We would stay here again if we’re ever back in Edinburgh.'

'After a long drive to get there it was lovely to dump the cases and get into the hot tub. The accommodation was better than expected and we both enjoyed our stay there. We were told that the drive was a wee bit tight but other than that, no issues'

'Ideal location with charming village area nearby. Easy walk to local pub and to the water. Flat was spacious and well equipped; but could have used a bit more maintenance and some air freshener (near the sea, so a bit of a damp, musty smell). It was a bit farther from central Edinburg (~40 min) than I had expected; but the quaint village feel of the area was well worth the few extra minutes drive. All in all a nice place to support local sight seeing and day trips.'

'We had a lovely time at Heather's house! We were a group of three families, the place caters especially well for extended families. All went really well, Heather was a very lovely and caring host. Thanks for having us!'

"Very friendly, clean and welcoming hotel. Lots of parking space and a excellent restaurant with a cosy bar.. Although close to the airport a good connection could be made with the Edinburgh city-center via public transport or car. Room was spacious and well kept with a proper bed to sleep. This hotel is well worth the money with a shopping-mall close by, although transport is needed to reach as a main road has to be crossed. The breakfast was not enjoyed as we were on our way early, but as airline crew are also staying here it should have a certain standard."
