'Unique place to stay but I am glad we were only there one night. The apartment had limited seating (only one loveseat) and super heavy fire doors between each room. Done for fire code but I have never seen its like!'

'Beautiful, fairy tales behind stay. The breakfast and evening meals were less good. There was also no possibility to eat in the village.Luckily the cook was kind enough to make a steak sandwich for us for the lunch.The staff were very helpful.'

'This is a beautiful setting by the sea with idyllic walking in the area. The host greets you at the door and provides a thorough review of all the small things you usually have to ask about. A very comfortable lounge. I was able to open my window and listen to the songbirds greeting the day.'

'Was a nice place but just not for me hosts were very friendly there was a set meal which didn’t really suit my tastes but there was no other choice 1 thing I found strange was sitting around a big table with guests you had only just met not forced too but you weren’t offered any other option other than that was ok for a 1 night stay bit remote nothing else around if you wanted to go out for food '

'Gorgeous hotel in a beautiful setting. Spacious and comfortable, with pretty views. The restaurant was amazing (vegan and gluten free options too), and the grocery store/gift shop on site was a great feature (vegan, gluten free options at the store as well). We will definitely be back and would highly recommend! The golf course was excellent as well. We stayed in 12B Maxwells.'

'Abgelegens, etwas spezielles B&B, das aber seinen Reiz hat. 20 Minuten Autofahrt bis Castle Douglas mit Restaurants. Grosse Zimmer. Z.T. etwas ins Alter gekommen. Da Ende Saison, Frühstücksangebot doch etwas eingeschränkt. Insgesamt aber doch ok, wenn auch nicht ganz günstig.'
