I emailed hotels.com about this issue but have got no reply.... '

'Simple but affordable hotel. Half a mile or so from city center. Good breakfast. Like most of these older buildings the rooms are not sound-insulated so if you have noisy neighbours that might keep you awake. TV, coffee maker, overall a good stay.'

While other hotels have been understanding of the unique circumstances of the pandemic, neither Beersbridge nor Expedia seemed to care. I will never use Expedia again, and I will not stay at Beersbridge.'

'De overnachting was goed. Eerste avond vreselijk slecht ges;apen door een hoop lawaai, veel dronken mensen die voor ons open raam langs liepen. Dit hebben wij gemeld bij het personeel, we kregen daarna gelijk een kamer aand de achterkant van het hotel en geslapen als roosjes.'

'We thought we were booking into an Inn with facilities but its a complex of Lodges which are being constructed and a building site. There was no superior room, we were in a Lodge away from the main building as that has just been hanged into rooms with a few tables and chairs in the kitchen for breakfast.. The restaurant hasn't been built yet awaiting planning permission. This is not what we booked on our Anniversary Trip through Scotland - very disappointing We nearly fell over the raised...

'Nice hotel in a great location. Everything nearby: public transport, shops, restaurants and pubs. The apartment we stayed in was a bit outdated, but you get what you pay for... try finding another apart-hotel in the city center at this rate. Spacious apartment with everything you need. Super friendly and helpful staff. The great location is also the downside: the noise from the traffic, music from the pubs and drunken Glaswegians can be heard in your bedroom.
