Vakantiehuizen in Schotland

'It is a tradition in our family to start a visit to Scotland in Court Residence. We have always liked it a lot, but this time we were disappointed. I booked through hotels.com and ordered (and paid for) their best room (The duplex). Unfortunately we did not get it. Then the breakfast, which is as usual some products on a breakfast basket and fridge in the room. Best before date of the bread was few days in the past. The milk in the fridge was a leftover from previous people.... So breakfast...

'Several issues with the booking and stay mean we would not return. We booked for four days, but the £100 security deposit still had not been released four weeks later despite multiple follow-ups. This has significantly undermined our confidence in the vendor. The room was not cleaned during our stay, and no fresh towels were provided. More seriously, the owner entered our room unannounced one morning without knocking, which we found alarming and unacceptable. Make of that what you will. The...

'The room was very clean when we got there (although one chair was very wobbly - so we avoided sitting on it). The amenities were very nice - including coffee, tea, water and even Caramel Wafers (nice touch). Check out was seamless, location is great, so much available to do.'

Но вход в здание через задворки пабов и огромное количество мусорных баков, мы приехали в час ночи и впечатление было не из лучших. Но не для таких впечатлительных это не должно быть проблемой. Для центра города - все в пешей доступности - очень удобно'

'Very lovely stay in the pod. It was clean and cozy and comfortable. We did not receive the instructions for how to check in but contacted the host and solved the problem. It was stressful because there is very little internet access in that area. The beautiful beach is a short walk away.'

'Great cottage, all facilities are present and working. You do need to be careful if you're sleeping in the attic. One of the bars from the retractable attic ladder can be an obstacle.'
