« My wife and I enjoyed our stay here! The room is basic but equipped with all the essentials (private entrance, private bathroom, kitchen sink, and fridge). It’s perfect for use as a home base while spending your days out and about. It is very close to a bus stop, about a 4 min walk, which gives easy connection to the rest of the city. The family is very quiet and we were not disturbed at all during our stay. »

« We loved the house. Plenty of room inside for 10 of us and a wonderful play space on the grounds for little kids. Also, there is a wonderful public playground 5-10 minutes by foot from the house. It’s an easy walk to local shopping and the town center in Musselburgh. By car, we were 25 minutes from Edinburgh city center and the Royal Mile. Two buses that are a 5-10 walk from the house take 20 minutes to get to Edinburgh city center. »

« Idéalement située proche Stirling et Edimbourg. Nous avons fait toute la cÎte est et meme une journée à Culloden et Inverness, c était largement faisable. Maison au calme et avec une vue à 20 mÚtres de la maison sur le lac lomond. »

« All was great. This is a working stable with horses and those many that have to care for horses, plus at least one friendly dog. You felt welcomed and that was appreciated. With a 15 minute drive you are in North Berwick and so close to John Muir park and Seacliff. Seacliff is special. The only, and minor, negative was that it was not a peaceful place when we were there- lots of tree trimming (Chain saw) and chipping- so very noisy at times. I would guess this is a rare event and suggested to...

« We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Gillespie house; the location was excellent, and the bed and living area were very comfortable. We walked almost everywhere around Edinburgh from the Gillespie house, making it so convenient. It was about 30 minutes to the center of town, but many great shops and restaurants were even closer. We would definitely stay again. :) »

« Great communication with the owner. Enogh parking for two cars. House exceeded our expectations, everything spotless, much bigger than looks on the pictures. Great having extras like dishwasher tablets, tinfoil ect. The garden was great, we enjoyed the summerhouse too. Then just through the gate onto the beach. Just perfect. We definitely hope to return. »

« As a family of 5 (with adult children), we wanted somewhere comfortable, spacious and within walking distance to the centre and major attractions. Briery Bauks was a great find and allowed us to get a balance between sight seeing and unwinding. It's located in a quiet neighbourhood of Edinburgh and supermarkets and restaurants close by. There was great communication with the propmanager throughout. Would highly recommend! »
