'Don't be daunted with the fact that there isnt a grocery store or ATM in Gimmelwald! There are 2 bars across the street with pizza and drinks. A quick cable car to Murren for a Food Co-op or cable and bus to Lauterbrunnen for another Co-op which both have all you need is easy!The views, the peaceful quiet is amazing! All one hears are the bells of goats/cows. Love Love this place! comfortabnle, and very clean! Very attentive, manager onsite when we arrived! Highly recommend! '

'Voici un gîte que je recommande. Très pratique, dans une commune avec des commerces et une gare. Les alentours sont magnifiques sans être touchés par le sur-tourisme. Je me suis régalé sur mon vélo ! J'ai été très bien reçu. Le gîte est situé dans un coin très tranquille, au bord d'une route en impasse et très peu fréquentée.'

'Wij bleven omhoog rijden en vroegen ons af waar we terecht zouden komen. Geweldig........wat een prachtige locatie en uitzichten. De eigenaars waren vriendelijk en vertelde ons alles over de koeien en de kalfjes. Wij waren daar nieuwsgierig naar. Verder was alles er, wij hebben niets gemist.'

'Gimmelwald is like a fairytale and Husmättli is a wonderful house to stay in. The view of the mountains and waterfalls are really a sight to see. Gino, the host, is very nice as well. If you have the chance to stay here, please do. You will be happy you did.'

'What a great little place, perfect for two persons. Situated in a great location with stunning views of the lake and mountains. The place is small but just right for 2 persons and has everything you need, including a parking space right in front and a nice small area to sit outside to admire the view. A great location to explore some nice places from: Lucerne, Aareschlucht, Handeckfallbrücke (beautiful scenic drive), Sigriswil, Lungern, Iseltwald, Jaun, Saanen, Thun, Brienz and...

'Sehr schön, das Objekt ist absolut in Ordnung, ruhig (bis auf die selbst erzeugten Geräusche - Holzhaus), die Betreuung funktioniert vor Ort reibungslos, und der Weg zur Seilbahn ist minimal.'
