'Great location, would definitely recommend!'

'Foto's en beschrijving komen niet overeen met de werkelijkheid.Chalet is ok met alle voorzieningen. Echter elke ochtend vanaf 9 uur GEEN water. Er was geen internet bereik. (dit heeft miets met Wifi te maken) geen terrasje buiten. Voor de deur kan ern klapstoeltje gezet worden maar dit moet eigenlijk pp een doorlopend pad voor de buren. Elke dag is contact geweest met de eigenaar over het water probleem. Dit is echter niet opgelost, we werden verwezen naar de receptie van het park. Samenvattend:...

'The Golden Bay holiday park is in a wonderful location, close to the sea and the town centre, and its very quiet, hard to beat anywhere else in Westward Ho! Early vibes had been poor. At 7pm before the day of our arrival I had to remind our “premier?” Host for some arrival instructions, which we received shortly afterwards with an apology and an instruction to bring towels (bath, beach, hand and tea), loo rolls, kitchen rolls, washing up liquid, hand soap and bin liners! 'The property has amazing views, is very clean and in a beautiful setting. We really enjoyed our stay and especially the hot tub.'

'For context, holiday parks aren't my thing as a rule. That said, I'd revisit this chalet if I was coming back to the area, no issues. It's a good spot to visit this part of the coast and if you do want to use the holiday park facilities you couldn't be better placed, a very short walk from the pools, the shop and the bar/restaurant. The chalet has everything you need for your stay and is well looked after and comfy.'

'Just nice nothing special ,nothing awful . We’re not given the single story chalet style property but a two bedroomed house . It clearly had not been used as it took the first day to warm up .had to wear coats. On discussion with reception they were adamant that this was what VRBO had booked us ?Pool , shop and leisure facilities very nice.,but read the small print as not free.'

'We had a great weeks stay at the Thistledown lodge. The property was very clean and perfect for our arrival. The instructions/directions were clear and made for easy arrival. The lodge was perfect for us and our dog. The lodge had everything we required for a great stay. The hot tub was perfect as well, while the dog enjoyed her time in the garden (which was fully secure for her to roam about freely) The lodges location was a short walk to two great local pubs, which both served great food....

'The hot tub, the biggest attraction for us, could’ve been a few degrees warmer as it was raining and very cold outside but the place was spacious, pleasant and we had a lovely 2 night stay which was the perfect amount.'
