'I had business in town and my wife came with for the 4th. We do not have a boat but the access to the water by way of the dock was fantatic! She floatied around with the ducks for days. Property location was excellent right next to an ice cream shop. Everything we needed and more...deck..fire pit...lots of indoor space....just a nice property. 'Great place for a family of 10 that included grandparents, parents and grandkids. Since 2 are teens and one 11, they were able to sleep in the living room while the rest of us had beds upstairs. We were a bit worried about one shower, but we made it work! We walked down to the lake both nights. Large living room for family movie night. Perfect amount of seats for adults at the dining room and kiddos in the game area to eat and still be together. Plenty of towels, sheets and blankets. The kitchen...

'We had a really nice time staying at Swordfish Dog Retreat. The house was clean, well appointed, and wonderfully decorated. It is within walking distance to the downtown and the lake. The lower level was stocked with everything you need to make your dog comfy and the fenced in yard was great too! Mike and Abby were easy to contact about check in and anything else we needed. We hope to stay again in the near future. '
